The Auto Cell EL+IV Sorter is dedicated equipment for mono/poly-Si cell sorting in the PV industry. It uses EL (Electroluminescence) imaging to detect micro-cracks and dark spots, and measures electrical parameters under simulated sunlight for classification. It handles cell sizes from 156 mm to 230 mm and delivers a throughput of about 3,000 pcs/h at a cycle time of 1.2 s in continuous mode, with a single-piece cycle available.

Built on the FL8 series PLC (FL8-E16-D controller with FBS-CAN bus coupler module, prefabricated CPU, plug & play and detachable terminal block for easy maintenance) for motion and logic control, the FE9100M HMI (10.1" 16:9 TFT LCD, 1024×600, high performance with large memory) for visualization and operation, and FV5-R3 series servo drives (450W–750W, Bluetooth support, 12-bit analog ABZ encoder) paired with EAM series motors (750W, up to 6,000 rpm, 17/23-bit encoder, IP67 protection). Running on EtherCAT with the dedicated FB_YYX_Plane-XYR coordinate transform function block for YYX mechanism and cam synchronization, the architecture converts XY position information into YYX axis compensation values for precise position correction — delivering high-precision, high-efficiency cell sorting.
